Responsibilities
The Finance Manager oversees the property’s financial performance and ensures all accounting tasks are executed within legal, contractual, and policy boundaries.
This professional acts as a strategic partner to the General Manager and is tasked with building strong professional ties with a wide array of internal and external parties. This includes departments such as Finance, Sales, IT, Sourcing, Personnel, Operations, and Shared Service Centers, as well as Asset Managers, Owners, and Regional Finance teams. The Finance Manager coordinates with Business Partners to build superior hotel finance departments, which involves engaging in pertinent professional growth initiatives.
You must stay knowledgeable regarding the hotel’s management contract and establish workflows that guarantee the facility functions in accordance with those terms, escalating any adherence concerns to your direct supervisor.
Requirements
- College degree specialized in Finance or Accounting
- At least 3 years of tenure in a comparable capacity, with a preference for the hospitality sector
- Capacity to evaluate vast quantities of intricate financial data from diverse origins to produce forecasts and reports
- Robust analytical capabilities, featuring the skill to resolve difficulties through teamwork
