Role: Senior Executive – Factory Procurement
Role Overview:

Role Objectives:
The individual oversees the procurement of international MRP and Non‑MRP OPEX supplies along with Technical Services, strictly adhering to Nestlé’s established purchasing protocols. This position requires collaboration with internal units and global vendors to guarantee prompt delivery of goods, refine shipping strategies, satisfy import mandates, and refine the comprehensive Source to Pay cycle.
Daily Responsibilities:
- Guarantee the punctual arrival of imported goods to satisfy operational demands and service benchmarks.
- Manage the complete P2P (E2E) cycle for designated groups while ensuring all Service Level Agreements are satisfied.
- Evaluate and suggest logistics providers to facilitate effective transport of shipments to the facility.
- Liaise with the Shipping Department and pertinent groups to facilitate seamless customs processing.
- Monitor and execute vendor payments for international partners according to domestic laws.
- Discover and implement cost-efficiency measures by actively questioning existing methods.
- Minimize reliance on solitary suppliers by sourcing alternative partners to boost market competition.
- Foster robust connections with primary internal partners to assist with business needs.
- Participate in NCE and FI programs, CI tasks, and help maintain enduring operational standards.
- Track and resolve outstanding items concerning Procurement audit findings.
Candidate Requirements:
- Academic Background: An undergraduate degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a matching discipline.
- Required Expertise: At least 2 years of professional background within Procurement, Supply Chain, or a comparable function.
- Linguistic Abilities: Professional proficiency in both English and Sinhala.
- Additional Attributes: A customer-focused approach paired with superior stakeholder coordination, verbal clarity, and social skills. Must be self-starting and goal-oriented with a capacity for logical and creative problem-solving. Capable of working cooperatively within diverse groups in a fast-paced setting.
